Week 7

27 March-31st March

We met with the different NfPs this week, and it finally feels like things are coming together. Myself, Genevieve and Leanne met with St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA) on Monday, the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) on Wednesday, the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation (LMCF) on Thursday and the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) on Friday. During each meeting I took down some rough notes on what stories they'd like to tell in the video, how they'd like it to look and what they'll be saying during their subsequent 1-2 minute speeches (as to not repeat what they're already saying).

SVHA and NICA both had very clear concepts of what they'd like to see both story-wise and
visually, which was extremely helpful to me. The LMCF also had some fabulous prompts for the
video as it is their centennial celebration this year, which works perfectly for this occasion. RFDS at this stage still seems unsure about what exactly they'd like the video to cover and have also yet to send through any visuals for me to work with.

I spent a day this week looking into the music I'd like to use for each organisation's video. I decided ultimately to use Motion Array for sourcing my music, as when I looked into it's copyright policies and how it's generally used in digital video content it seems both reliable and worth the cost. For each organisation, I found 3-4 different tracks I can potentially use in the video (which will have no voice over) and put them in a table for the rest of the team to look at and give feedback on if they so wish to.

Later in the week, SVHA also sent through a guide on what exactly they want covered in the video and in what order. This wasn't required of them, but it'll help me in my storyboarding process and ensuring that they're satisfied with the final product. They also sent through their branding guide per my request for each of the NfPs in the meetings. With these, I've started work on the planning and storyboarding for SVHA first.
